A new iPad app has been developed by technicians at the Ford Motor Company which allows staff at new and used Ford car dealers to quickly show people visiting their sites which cars are currently in their inventory and also comes complete with detailed information on a number of new, high tech products. 

Known as ‘Showcase', the programme acts as an extension to an existing system already in place on the Ford.com website, which gives people the facility to compare one vehicle to another and also to specify what configurations and features they would like to be included in their next car.

With the app also helping to explain the benefits of innovations like active parking assistance and the much vaunted new Sync in-built communication and entertainment system, Showcase will provide a hugely useful service to both the car-buying public and Ford's representatives themselves.

Although so far only available at showrooms across the US, it is hoped that UK dealers will soon also be able to take advantage of this unique way of checking exactly which Ford cars for sale are available to customers at any given time.
